secret.. agent man!
secret officer's stuff
not to be distributed to others
but hopefully useful to you

Well I'm hoping the WebDKP thing is pretty straight forward. Anyhoo I was thinking, it might help a lot if raid macros were available for all of us to use. I'm sure we have our own individual ones but there's a limit on wow (that you can overcome with a mod but that's besides the point) so here goes.

The idea is that before a raid, you come here and substitute the names of players and stuff with the ones in the raid (of course). Then you just copy and paste into wow, whenever. The stuff you type in now won't change (unless you refresh the page).

I know this page looks really shitty atm but I spent 5min on it and I haven't done HTML in aaagggesss.....

Anyway, we are going to change the way we record DKP for various reasons:
1. No one can see the DKP history except Meadow
2. No one but Meadow can assign DKP

So I went and found another system which requires getting another WoW mod and an internet browser. You'll only need to do this if you are going to give out DKP during a raid. Otherwise you can just forget about it. I'm just putting all this down if one day Meadow or I can't make a 25man and one of you have to do this.

1) Go to http://www.webdkp.com and download the mod (the link is at the top of the page).
2) Unzip it into your WoW Addons folder.
3) Start WoW, log in and open the mod by typing /webdkp
4) The mod is now set up.

Note: you can only see players on the left hand side if they are in the raid with you.

- To give DKP to the whole raid, click the button "Select all", click on the Award tab and fill in the boxes.
- To give DKP to a few people, just click on their names to the left, click on the Award tab and fill in the boxes.

How to use
1) Before you start wow, you must synchronise the data in your wow folder with that on the website. Either: use the WebDKP Synx.exe that came with the mod OR manually download the DKP table from the website by logging into the control panel.
2A) If you're using WebDKP Synx.exe, you'll need .NET 2.0 Framework. When you start it up you'll need to fill in these details:
Log in details are
Username: laggydkp
Password: laggyas
The log file is in this directory:
wow folder\WTF\ACCOUNT_NAME\SavedVariables\WebDKP.lua
Press Synchronise and you're ready to start wow.

After the raid, exit wow, start up the program again and press synchronise. That's all there is to it :)

2B) If you're doing it via the website, log in and go to the control panel. Under Tasks, click on Download latest DKP. Save it somewhere and move it to the folder
wow folder\WTF\ACCOUNT_NAME\SavedVariables\WebDKP.lua
And yes you want to overwrite the file :P
After the raid, log back on to the website and go to control panel. Under Tasks, click on Upload an Addon File. Find that WebDKP.lua in that folder above and upload it.
